Went on a hike through the swamp the other day. Irises are in full bloom and it was absolutely amazing. Though, I did manage to get pretty sunburned. =/
I used my lensbaby on these. It’s a really unique lens that gives an awesome effect. On this photo it’s hard to see, but I have a few that it’s more distinct in.

Sorry I haven’t been around more…
Between my mom being in the hospital and other work, I just don’t seem to have time to spend drawing OR blogging about a whole lot. =( I’m going to make more of an effort to spit out more art work. Promise!

Thanks! After a while of using a pen, the ink doesn’t “flow” as well, I label those as my shading pens!
I hold then an and extreme angle and lightly make strokes in the same direction over, and over, and over. Haha! It takes a while, but the more I do it the quicker I get, and it’s totally worth it.

Yes, everything is for sell, I’d love to keep it, but I don’t have room to display any of it and I don’t like the idea of them just sitting around. I try to keep my prices reasonable, too. I also do/take commissions, which I have a TON right now, so that’s hindering my “creative” work. =( I can’t wait to get back into my weird stuff! Haha.
Yeah, I would love to illustrate children’s books! But I’m not so much for the writing of them, so someone would have to do that and trust me to illustrate it.

Aw, thank you everyone for the nice messages and words yesterday..
Just one of those multiple quarter life crises I tend to go through, where self doubt tends to get the best of a person. I try to be positive, but I’m more of a realist at heart, so it’s hard sometimes!

Free Kitten
This was inspired but a real life thing, maybe I’ll tell the story another time.
I’m working on another one, a creepy “candy tree” about to eat a little kid.
I’m morbid, kind of. In a strange way, I’m awfully friendly, sweet and bubbly in real life. My head is a different world. I see things strangely, but I like it that way.
And, I’m genuinely a nice person, it’s not an act. I am who I am. Even if it’s a contradiction.
